Situated alongside Blue Anchor station on the West Somerset Railway, this ex-Great Western Railway carriage harks back to the days of GWR and early British Rail camping coaches of the middle of the last century.

The carriage has been restored from dereliction over the period 2016-18.

Being adjacent to the preserved railway you will be able to watch the restored steam locos chuffing past, harking back to the care-free days of the middle of the  last century. Camping coaches then provided simple, easily reached holiday homes in wonderful locations.

Today's camping coach is still in a wonderful location - but with a level of comfort not found in British Railways ownership.
